I refer to 2 previous letters regarding this awesome cuckold film, arguably the mother of ALL cuckold films. Letters published on 23rd & 29th October 2025, both dedicated to Robert Redford.
My wife’s lover lent me a DVD of the film, after refereeing me to the 2 above letters. Sure, I’d heard of the film, but never seen it—-LOVED the DVD, & agree with the contents of those 2 letters. But would like to add my own views.
Why was there no love scene featuring Redford & Demi Moore? When she finally fell in love with billionaire John Gage, SURELY, maybe 30 seconds of lovemaking?
Instead at start of film TOO much lovemaking with her husband ‘David’ (Harelson); unnecessary that.
Dianne’s ( Demi Moore) jealous husband husband David suggested, in his jealous rage that ‘You were DYING to do it with John Gage’. Maybe he was right—-sure the $1 million payment helped—-but she was probably attracted to Redford anyway—-she, on the yacht tarted up for him, applying lip stick, always a giveaway when lip stick is applied, the wearer ‘suggesting’ that she was gonna use her mouth! On his mouth, on his body, & on his cock! If Dianne was only doing it for the money, why did she look gorgeous for her lover to be?
Also, strange that following that night of cuckold lust on the luxury boat, & with billionaire Gage in hot pursuit of Dianne, in trying to win her off her husband, the cuckold loser David—-not ONCE was any mention made of their love session on the boat.
When Redford flattered her, saying, “You are truly beautiful”, why did he not follow it up by something like”Look, we’re probably very compatible in every way. Sexually, proven that we’re compatible—-on the boat you told me I was a better lover than your husband; for sure were compatible in EVERY possible way!” Why was NO reference made to their night of lust.
Indeed, as mentioned above they should have shown maybe 30 seconds of love making when Dianne finally fell in love with billionaire Gage—& in that 30 seconds, he could have asked her, “ Am I better than your husband?”, & she could have answered, totally ‘in list’, “ Yes, MUCH better!” Wow exciting would THAT have been?
And read someplace, following that film, cuckoldry in the USA went up 20%, with cuckolds searching studs to service their wives.
But all said & done, with all the possible faults as such in Indecent Proposal, a first class film all round, & fully deserving of its record box office takings—-rating out of 10? Maybe 8! Had ALL the criticisms been addressed, a BIG 10/10!
