Deb and I have been seeing each other for a couple of months, I met her at a club and we clicked. I have to admit I am falling for her but let me tell you about what happened last Friday night.
I called Deb from the office to let her know I was going to be late. She said not to worry she will nurse a few drinks and wait for me. Are date was for 8PM but I didn't get there till after 10:30. The place was packed and I looked for Deb and eventually saw her on the dance floor with another guy. At first I felt like cutting in but I remembered reading some stories about wives and girlfriends being picked up by guys.
I found a seat on the other end of the club and luckily it was crowded so she did not see me but frankly it didn't look like she was trying too hard. She did try to call my cell phone. I saw the ID so after the first try I turned it off. She made a couple more calls then it looked like she turned hers off also.
In between all of the people, I was able to watch Deb and her new friend. I could see that she was a little pissed at me for standing her up, and he seemed to be comforting her with his hand on hers.
A slow dance came up and Deb and her partner started dancing. It was one of those very romantic songs and Deb took advantage of it. She looked so damn sexy in this guy's arms. You know how a couple that should be a couple look while they dance. I had a huge boner sitting there. I could imagine how big his boner was holding her that way.
At the end of the song, she looked into his eyes and they kissed. After that he said something to the waitress and got the check.
I had to decide whether to step in or just let them go. My head (above the shoulders) said stop them and apologize to Deb. My head below my waist said let them go and apologize later. I listened to the more excited head. They got up and started for the door, hand in hand. I sat and ordered another drink and waited a half hour so I had no chance to follow them.
I called her phone a couple of times on Saturday and Sunday. She never returned the call. On Monday I did the candy and flowers thing and went to her office. Deb was a little embarrassed at first but then we went to a coffee shop in the building to talk.
I apologized for standing her up and she said "OK" then she said that she met a guy that night, Ted. I looked deep into her eyes and she said I plan to continue dating him, can you live with that. I told her that we are single, sure I do want to continue dating her even if I have some competition now. I asked her if she was already booked for Monday night and she was but I have a date with her tonight for dinner.
I would like to hear from any one whose girl was also dating another man at the same time. When I was sitting at the club the other night, I was turned on watching her with someone else. Is that normal, I hope it is because I really do not mind that she is dating Ted. When they are on a date, I will let my imagination run wild and imagine what they are doing.
